The GetSet! web-based tool is an interactive planning tool created by The Arc Minnesota. GetSet! helps young people stay focused during challenges and decision-making. The tool is based on person-centered principles and asks young adults a series of questions designed to help them consider what adult life might look like, what their unique strengths are, and what skills or supports might be needed to achieve those goals. Their chosen answers are then combined into a colorful visual that can motivate the young adult and their team and act as a touchstone to assist with decision-making.

This printable, shareable road map helps young people dream big and overcome challenges. Through this, individuals learn self-determination and begin to voice what is important to them. Group subscriptions also include a facilitator’s guide to help those who support the individual continue these important conversations and act on what is discovered.
